Act 2 - How it is
(A hooded figure emerges from the shadow, joining the creature in the center of the stage. The pinprick of light grows, turning a deeper red color. The hooded figure reaches out with a gnarled aged hand, textured like bark. They grasp onto a soul, squeezing the light out of it, and adding to the pinprick of light around the creature’s head.)
The Judge: His power is…incredible. Should Ge deign to feast on humanity, He shall bring all we know to ruin. Yet still…I fear if He would to die, He would bring the end of all as well. What a delightful conundrum. I suppose…someone capable should rein in this power. Direct Him.
Without direction, are we human? The Entity has no direction, yet His hunger grows, spurring Him on to lurk in the darkest recesses of humanity. Should He be allowed to roam free…no…it’s foolish to think of a future that will never come.
End Scene.

Sleep is difficult. Every time you close your eyes, you feel as if something is observing you. Watching your every move.
Try as you might, you can't get the Cat's eyes out of your mind.
Eventually, you rise at some hour. It's hard to judge the time in this place, but the Caretaker has prepared a lovely smelling breakfast for you all, so you think it must be morning. The Caretaker looks almost sheepish, rubbing her hands together.
I do apologize for how The Judge acts. It's nothing personal. Once you accept the rules of this place, your stay here will go by incredibly quickly.
She hands you all a map of the surrounding area. Seems like the fog has dissipated in the Northern Area of town.
A sense of unease floats between you. Will Petra be allowed to go home? What about those cryptic tasks you had to do?
Perhaps you should seek out the Judge for some answers, or explore the new area.
Or sit in your rooms and cry or something I dunno.
